OVEN & STOVE ISSUES

WILL NOT TURN ON

If an electric stove does not turn on, check if the appliance power cord is plugged in and if all circuit breakers are switched on. You need to check the pilot light for gas stoves. If the stove is plugged in or if the pilot light is burning, then some other part will need to be fixed. The cause of the issue could be the infinite switch, surface element, oven igniter or bake and broil element.

BURNER WON’T HEAT

A burner or stove or oven that does not heat does not do much. An oven will not heat if there’s a broken bake element or oven sensor. A burner will not heat if an element breaks or when the burner switch or terminal block don’t work. We know how to repair these common problems in under 1-2 hours after an appointment begins.

TIMER PROBLEMS

You can assume the control panel on a stove is broken when the program or timer functions are not working. If that is the case, we are able to repair control panels on LG, Sears, GE, KitchenAid, Kenmore and several other brands of stoves, ovens and ranges. We provide a warranty on all of the control panels and the manufacturer parts we install for this type of stove repair service.

OVEN IS TOO HOT

You always need a hot oven. Although not too hot! When the heat is too hot, it could be because of a broken thermostat or sensor. Our technicians know how to find the cause of the problem and then repair it. Just be careful when troubleshooting this issue for fear of body burns from the very high and unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER DOES NOT LIGHT

A common stove problem is when an igniter glows but it won’t light. The reason this occurs is from either a broken electronic control, surface igniter, safety valve or temperature sensor. We determine whether we are able to fix these appliance parts or if we will have to replace the parts.

DOOR WILL NOT OPEN

New self-cleaning types of ovens can have door issues. The door will not open after the cleaning cycle. We inspect the door latch, seal and thermostat to figure out why the door doesn’t open up and then we complete the necessary repair in order to correct the issue.
